Our story
A dental office built to feel calm
Clearview opened in 2010 with one aim: dental visits that feel calm and clear, for children and adults alike. Dr. Emily Carter and Dr. Brian Walsh see families across north Columbus, and patients say nobody here makes them feel bad about their teeth.
- 01
Talk it through
The dentist sits with you, X-rays on screen, and answers questions before any decision is made.
- 02
Fit around work
Saturday appointments run twice a month, for families who cannot take a weekday off.
Treatments
What we treat, and what it costs

Exam, cleaning and X-rays
A first visit for new patients without insurance: full exam, cleaning and imaging, so you leave knowing what your teeth need and what it costs.

Tooth-colored filling
A tooth-coloured filling matched to your tooth, priced per tooth depending on size. Small cavities filled early cost far less than a crown or root canal later.

Teeth whitening
In-office whitening done in a single visit. The price is written out before we start, so you decide with the numbers in front of you.
$350 · 1 hr 30 min

Crown
A porcelain crown fitted over two visits: the tooth is shaped first, then the final crown is fitted once it comes back from the lab.

Children’s cleaning
Cleaning, fluoride and an exam for children. A cleaning lifts hardened tartar that brushing cannot shift, and early visits make later ones easier.

Why families come here
You know the cost before we start
What makes a visit here easier to plan for.
Prices in writing
Every plan is priced in writing before treatment. You decide with the numbers in front of you, not after.
Toothache seen today
Call before 10am and we keep room for same-day emergency visits, for the mornings when waiting is not an option.
X-rays on the screen
The dentist takes the X-rays and shows them to you on screen, so you see the decay and bone loss the eye cannot.
Kids and grandparents
Families come from a child’s first visit through to grandparents’ dentures, all under one roof in Clintonville.
Your visit
From your message to the finished work
- 1
Exam
The dentist looks at the tooth or the whole mouth, and takes what images are needed to see what the eye cannot.
- 2
Written plan with prices
You get a treatment plan in writing with prices, so cost is settled in the open rather than at the end.
- 3
Treatment when you are ready
Work starts once you have the plan in hand. Nothing begins before you have seen the numbers.
- 4
A time to come back
We agree when to see you again, and you leave knowing what happens at that next visit.
