Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most at the front desk, answered plainly.
Before you book
The questions we hear most
Do you take my insurance?
Yes. Insurance usually covers part of preventive care and less of cosmetic work, which is why the plan is written out first. You see what is covered and what is not before you agree to anything.
What if I have a toothache today?
A toothache that wakes you at night often means the nerve is involved and rarely settles on its own.
How much will it cost without insurance?
It depends on what the dentist finds and which treatment you choose. The dentist goes through the options with you at the visit, and you leave with a figure in writing before anything is booked.
Do you see children?
Yes. A child’s cleaning covers cleaning, fluoride and an exam, and families come to us from a child’s first visit through to grandparents’ dentures.
Will I be told off about my teeth?
No. Patients tell us nobody here makes them feel bad about their teeth, and that is the part we care most about getting right.
How do I pay?
We take card. The reception desk settles payment at the end of the visit, once the treatment is done.
